Cooked the pork chops in a jar of home made spiced peaches with a little white wine added. Served with a salad of chopped carrot greens, chopped home grown zucchini, chopped home grown basil, chopped celery, cut up grape tomatoes on kale, drizzled with lemon juice. This worked because between the lemon and the basil I could not tell that I was eating zucchini!
I cubed an apple and set it to cook with the peaches from the pork chops. Added citrus peel, raisins and butter. This didn’t work so well as the ”cooked with meat” flavor is quite strong. The pork chops tasted great, however, so I will work on this. It makes a fine side dish, just not a good “dessert” option. I forgot to take a photo of the pork chops. You will have to take my word for it.
